Life of a Christian and a politian are on a parallel path. Life is made up of both good and bad people, sometimes they start on one path and end up on the other path of life. I think of these pathes as a good path and a bad path. When I think of these paths I think that the good path has Christian morals, traditional values, and they are lead by Jesus Christ, another name for this path is the Conservative path of life. The bad life is just the oppisite, it has no morals of any type, every man is for them self, and there lead by Satan himself, another name for this path is the Liberal path.
In Christianity a conservative person uses the Bible for there guild, and a liberal person uses nothing to guild them but life itself. A liberal person wants to get rid of the Bible or rewrite it to fit the purpose of the liberal vules.
In politics a conservative person uses the US Constitution, which was written on Christian values. A liberal person wants to destroy or rewrite the constitution to fit his agenda.
I know that there will be people out there that would not agree with this post, but it is my personal observation on how the USA is going.

THANKSGIVING
Today's Bible Verse: Ep 5:20 - giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I would like to talk to you today about the Christian holiday of Thanksgiving. For our purposes Thanksgiving started in 1621 with the first Thanksgiving feast between the Indians and the Pilgrims, where they gave thanks to God for all he has done for them. If you listen to modern day historians the Pilgrims gave thanks to the Indians for there help and not to God. I do believe that the Pilgrims first thanked God and then they thanked the Indians for there help and friendship.
The Continental Congress of 1777 wrote The First National Proclamation of Thanksgiving. George Washington wrote:
"FOR AS MUCH as it is the indispensable Duty of all Men to adore the superintending Providence of Almighty God; to acknowledge with Gratitude their Obligation to him for Benefits received, and to implore such farther Blessings as they stand in Need of: And it having pleased him in his abundant Mercy, not only to continue to us the innumerable Bounties of his common Providence; but also to smile upon us in the Prosecution of a just and necessary War, for the Defense and Establishment of our unalienable Rights and Liberties; particularly in that he hath been pleased, in so great a Measure, to prosper the Means used for the Support of our Troops, and to crown our Arms with most signal success."
The Liberal Politians of today are trying to take Christianity out of this country and out of Thanksgiving. The politians don't want to understand without Christian holidays like Thanksgiving they would not be in politics and The United States of America would not be The United States of America. Thanking God should be done everyday and not just once a year.

OMNIPRENCE
Good Morning to all of you.
My bible verse for today comes from Jeramiah 23:23,24 "Am I a god at hand, declares the LORD, and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.
God is bigger then all the universe, in Jeramiah we read that God fills heaven and earth. Knowing that our Heavenly Father is so big and all we have to do is talk to him, like we talk to other friends and family, this makes my blood warm up everytime I think of how big and awsome God truly is.
Now in closing I want to add something about the word Omniprence God - one that is bigger then the universe but is always around when we need to talk to him, What a awesome God, he is.

Human Soul
Genesis 2:7
7then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
From the book NELSON'S 3 IN 1 BIBLE COMPANION we read a definition of the human soul, "That which animates man; The living being; the self."
I would like to look at the soul as a gift from the living God, without our soul man would be either dead or in modern terms a human robot. I don't like to think of people as robots. As we read in Genesis 2:7 God breathed into man's nostrils, the breath of life. What God gave to man that day was man's living soul, without the soul we would be dead. I myself believes that the soul is more important then our bodies, because it what makes us all tick. If we all take care of our soul then that's what real counts in this world today, and not our bodies.
In my next post I would start showing how to take care of our souls.

God's Image
Genesis 1:26-27
26Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

I would like to look at this image of God for a few minutes. We all know that God created the heavens and the earth, at the same time he created man and women in his image. I want to compare God's image to man's image. I would compare God as our brain, as creator he has all the answers. Let's look at another verse for a moment:
John 1:1-2
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God.

In this verse John is talking about Jesus Christ, as being with God the father at the time of creatation. It also tells us that Jesus is God, with my comparison he is the physical being of God. Jesus physical body would be our body. And my last verse comes from:
John 16:7-9
7Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;

In these verses John is talking about the Holy Spirit, as a helper to convict us of what's right and what's wrong in each of us. In my comparison, I would call the Holy Spirit our soul, because our soul is the one that knows from right and wrong. If we take all of these verses we see that we are made in God's image.

PRINCE OF PEACE
Good Morning To Everyone:
I haven't posted in a while, but I'm trying to change that, with God's help it will be changed. I want to look at Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." The name Prince of Peace catches my eye. Jesus has the right to be called prince, because when he returns he will return as King of King, and we all know that you have to be a prince before you become King. Let's look at the word peace for a minute. Everyone thinks that the peace that Jesus gives to us is one of none wars. and everything that goes with it. I like to tell you that the peace that Jesus brings has more to it then that, the peace of this world is a peace that comes from the outside and goes into our heart. The peace Jesus gives us is a peace that is all ready in the heart, trying to get out if we allow it to. Ok how do we do this, by allowing Jesus to come into our lives as lord and savor, we also must prayer everyday for God to give us the help and the strength, that we need to allow that peace to come out of us. I know that in my own life if I don't stay in contact with God and ask him for help, then there is no peace in me to work with. Until latter I ask God to allow him to work in all of your lives so you can have that same peace.
