The Greek Alphabet

Good Morning. Today's bible verse comes from Revelation 22:13, which reads "13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Lets look at the Greek Alphabet for a minute. The first letter of the Greek Alphabet is "Alpha" and the last letter of the Greek Alphabet is "Omega". Yes Jesus was using the Greek Alphabet to talk about himself, and you ask why he was using Greek, well, the New Testament was written in Greek, not Hebrew like the Old Testment was written in. Jesus also said about himself that he is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. If you notice he is talking about the being of time and the end of time, which by the way being God in the flesh, Jesus was there when God created the heavens and the earth. When the time comes when Jesus comes back at the end of time to have the biggest war with Satan which by the way Jesus already one when he died on the cross. All I have to say about this is I'm glad that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega.

Christmas in God's World

Good Morning to all. It's 2 weeks before Christmas, because it is I wanted to look at Christmas for a few minutes. My bible verse for Christmas comes from Luke 2:4-7, " 4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. 6And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. 7And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn." This verse tells the true meaning of Christmas, one that has a stable, donkeys, cows, sheep, and other animals. It also has a small baby, crying to be feed, the baby is Jesus Christ, the savior of this world. That verse is the true meaning of Christmas, not the Modern Christmas with all the trees, presents, santa, and raindeer. In God's World the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus birthday, and nothing else. In the modern world we celebrate the birth of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, but we do not celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ the savior of the world. I suggest we start looking at Christmas as the true birthday of Jesus, maybe then Christmas would mean a lot more then it does today. I do hope everyone has a very good birthday of Jesus day.

God's In Control

Good Morning to everyone. I want to tell you a little bit about me, you see at times I think that everything that I am doing in my life is for me and by me, well let me tell you something, it don't work that way. Like I said before God created everything, and everyone and by being the creator, he is also in control over all of his creation. I sometimes forget this fact about God, and when I do think that I'm in control of my life, that is when I fall big time. God as the creator doesn't want us to fall, but when we do as his children we have the right to ask for is help and he will help us. Let me explain something at this point, God sometimes does not help us with what we want the help with, but he will help us with what God knows is important to help us with. This is how God is in control, and for a children of God that falls a lot I'm glad that he is in control. Until later, I hope all of you have a good day.

GENESIS 1:1-27 INTRO TO GOD'S WORLD

1In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

3And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

6And God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. 8And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

9And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. 10God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

11And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

14And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 15and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so. 16And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

20And God said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds[g] fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens." 21So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

24And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds." And it was so. 25And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

26Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

As we can read from Genesis 1:1-27, GOD did create the heavens and the earth, along with people like you and me. GOD'S WORLD is all about Gods creation and what goes along with it. As you can see down toward the bottom of the blog there is a way to check your weather, and link to a site that has a lot of pretty pictures of God's creation. I do hope you like what I have to say, until latter have yourself a very good life with God the creator.
