THE LORD'S PRAYER

Good Morning To You All:

This mornings Bible verse comes from Matthew 6:9-14; which reads: 9 Pray then like this:

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

We all know this pray as The Lord's Prayer, because Jesus gave it to us to use as an example how we should prayer to God our Father in Heaven. What I believe Jesus is saying is that we should praise and worship God in prayer, but we should take the time to tell God what's on our mind, good or bad. Remember The Lord's Prayer is the best example of talking with God, but there are some days that I just want to sit down and say God, can I just talk to you for a second. That's far from The Lord's Prayer. Let us get God's attention by calling upon God for who he is God, after we get God's attention then God wants us to tell him what's every on our mind, by talking to him everyday we strength the bond that we have with God the Father Through his Son Jesus. This is why at the end of our time talking to him we ask for all of these things that we just talked about in Jesus name. Our bonding to God our Father is the 2nd stage of being holy, by staying close to God in Prayer.
I wish all of you a good day.
